The Architecture Board needs you!
As a Java Architect at GameDuell, you will work for a high-traffic internet-based games platform with more than 500 million page views a month. GameDuell’s IT architecture is based on the SOA paradigm and consists of several loosely linked services that communicate by sending messages to each other. On one hand, the architecture allows a horizontal scaling of databases and services. On the other hand, it offers the highest possible availability and robustness for the user. The software is implemented in Java and uses technology such as JEE and GlassFish.
GameDuell's continuous and rapid growth demands a constant attention to scalability.
They are a great group with which to work and I highly recommend
joining their team if you are looking for a fun and exciting challenge.
- Marty Abbott (AKF Partners, former SVP and CTO eBay) -
GameDuell is Germany's largest game site and one of the best game sites in the world. In order to meet this high standard, not only is the implementation of new features extremely important, but it is also necessary to continuously optimize the platform. The further development of Team Organization (keyword: Agile Development) and more productive work methods (keyword: Continuous Deployment) are also part of our challenges.
If these challenges excite you, then we look forward to receiving your complete application (CV, letter of motivation, and copies of certificates/references) which you should send by email only to Andrea Freiheit (jobs@gameduell.de), subject "Java Architect (GD)". Applications sent by post cannot be returned.
Please come in! Take a quick tour and meet some of your future team-mates…
