As a Java Developer at GameDuell, you will face a high traffic platform, with more than two million monthly visitors, that requires performance-oriented and well-structured programming. You will work in a small team towards the development of new features and implementation of new games. GameDuell is looking to employ several Java developers with diverse work experience.
Your tasks
- Developing tournament and community features
- Programming JSPs, servlets and backend base classes
- Embedding games
- Development of administration and monitoring tools
- Debugging and testing
What we expect
- You have experience with Linux/Unix and can easily work the command-line
- You have professionally worked with Java for at least one year
- You have experience with C and Perl, as well as relational databases
- You have completed an academic course of studies and/or have already gained a foundation of programming knowledge through previous employment
- You are a regular Internet user and are interested in games and online communities
- You show enthusiasm in your work and an eagerness for both working independently, as well as in a team
