Your Tasks

  • Working in a team of top-class Senior Systems Engineer, you'll prioritise and organise projects
  • Managing our online server farm and building High-Availability Environments
  • Planning and realising scaling and security provisions in close collaboration with our Developer and Application Teams
  • Creating new Data Centers
  • Evaluating, selecting and establishing new Technologies

What we expect from you

  • Excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux and Internet technologies
  • High social, communication and organisational skills and experience as a team leader
  • At least 7 years' professional experience with administration of large systems
  • Experience in server virtualisation, scaling strategies and load balancing, SAN infrastructure, solid TCP/IP networking and firewall knowledge, scripting (bash, perl), java technologies, postgres and automated installation are all highly regarded
  • Strengths in analytical thinking, quick comprehension, goal-oriented and pragmatic approach, well-developed risk management and very solid technical judgement
  • High commitment levels and a strong will to get something done
  • Good written and verbal English skills
